In the tradition of great concept boats, Chris-Craft has partnered with car maker GM to create the Lancer GT Concept. In turn, GM is introducing the Pontiac G8 GT. The partnership is designed to highlight the new car's towing capability. The Lancer GT's production version is expected to debut next summer as a 2010 model. The Lancer GT Concept is full of new design features and sports car styling. "It is all about speed and style," says Bob Greenberg, VP of Engineering & Quality. The boat even features future engine technology from Mercury Marine with a 377 Magnum engine. "We expect the boat to approach 70 mph," Greenberg says.
