A STAR IS REBORN: CHRIS-CRAFT® ANNOUNCES NEWLY REDESIGNED CORSAIR 36

Sarasota, FL – February, 2012 –

Newly redesigned for 2013, the star of the of the Chris-Craft closed-deck cruiser line, made its debut at the 2012 Miami International Boat Show to much

fanfare. The newly redesigned Corsair 36 is equipped for all seasons; built to take on offshore waters and accommodate guests in

comfort and style but still nimble enough for a quick cocktail cruise. “The Corsair 36 redesign project was a bold move in today’s market. We wanted to take

our design to a higher level with the goal of exceeding expectations and offering that ‘Wow’ factor effortlessly,” said Chris Collier, VP of

Engineering. Giving new light on the scene, a new skylight runs the entire length of the forward deck and is flanked by teak appointments to allow for

maximum natural light in the forward salon. This opened up the cabin and created a salon that brings the outside, in and eliminates

that“below surface” feeling. Dining in the salon is also a pleasure in this light-filled cabin and easily configures to a bed for two. The aft cabin accessible

from the salon also sleeps two and has its own 19” television. The choice of cherry or walnut cabinets is standard and offers plenty

ofstorage. The fully equipped galley can accommodate maximum entertaining with ease, with a choice of three interior & upholstery color options, new for

2013. The 36 also comes with a full head with shower, solid surface countertops and also sporting the classic Chris-Craft

teakappointments. Moving topside, the newly re-styled helm station follows the trend established in our current line, with the custom stainless steel

windshield and perforated dash with custom Chris-Craft gauges that are also standard on this model. The Corsair 36 boasts a generous u-

shaped aft seating area and when you need a table, push a button and an electronically activated table will rise from the floor to cocktail height; and then with

a another push, extend to full dining height. When finished, it stows virtually undetected electronically lowering into the floor. The newly

designed aft engine hatch is also driven at the push of a button and rises to offer full access to the engine compartment with full access to all parts. A newly

designed power assist bimini top is also included and will rise with the push of a button and offers full protection for the fore cockpit.

Powered by Twin Mercury 8.2L (430hp) DTS engines and can reach top speeds of approximately 46-48 mph

@ 5,000 rpm.
