Deck Riggers

DESCRIPTION

Under the direction of a supervisor, effectively and efficiently installs interior and exterior parts of boats to hulls and decks including, seats, cabinets, tanks, doors, windshields, canvas, etc.  Performs other duties as directed by supervisor.

DESIRED REQUIREMENTS

Must be mechanically inclined and experienced in use of basic hand tools, air tools and electric power tools.

Hull Riggers

DESCRIPTION

Under the direction of a supervisor, effectively and efficiently individual will install underwater gear, wire harnesses, bilge pumps, bow eyes, water tanks, fuel tanks, waste tanks, generators, and air conditioning units.

DESIRED REQUIREMENTS

Must be mechanically inclined and experienced in use of basic hand tools, air tools and electric power tools.

Engine Installers

DESCRIPTION

Under direction of a supervisor, effectively and efficiently individual will install engines, transom plates, drives, thru-hull, underwater gear, wire harnesses, bilge pumps, bow eyes, water tanks, fuel tanks, waste tanks, generators, air conditioning units and shafts.

DESIRED REQUIREMENTS

Must be mechanically inclined and experienced in use of basic hand tools, air tools and electric power tools.

Final Riggers

DESCRIPTION

Under the direction of a supervisor, effectively and efficiently  installs interior and exterior parts of boats to hulls and decks including, seats, cabinets, tanks, doors, windshields, canvas, etc.  , install electrical panels and/or wiring in boats , installs steering and control systems.  Performs other duties as directed by supervisor. Performs similar and/or related duties as required.

DESIRED REQUIREMENTS

Must be mechanically inclined and experienced in use of basic hand tools, air tools and electric power tools.

Wire Harness Assembly

DESCRIPTION

Under direction of a supervisor, effectively and efficiently builds wire harnesses and gauge panels to specifications determined by the Electrical Engineer. Performs all other duties as directed by supervisor.

DESIRED REQUIREMENTS

Must have basic hand tool experience.

Teak Assembly

DESCRIPTION

Under the direction of a supervisor, effectively and efficiently individual will install teak onto fiberglass boats.  Includes, floors, bow rails and swim platforms.  Will prep both fiberglass and wood for installation using power tools, adhesive and varnishing products. 

DESIRED REQUIREMENTS

Must be mechanically inclined and experienced in use of basic hand tools, air tools and electric power tools.  Knowledge of wood and/or wood products helpful.

Upholstery Tackers

DESCRIPTION

Under the direction of a supervisor, effectively and efficiently individual performs all aspects of tacking associated with production of leanbacks, seatbacks, coaming pads, etc., for various boat models.  Performs similar and/or related duties as required. 

DESIRED REQUIREMENTS

Preferably experience in the assembly of lean backs, seatbacks, coaming pads, etc.  Six months experience in similar or related production desirable.  Must have working experience with air powered hand tools, and electric scissors.

Fiberglass Finishers

DESCRIPTION

Under the direction of a supervisor, effectively and efficiently  examines fiberglass finish for defects, and repairs as necessary.  Can involve drilling, patching, repainting. Smooth’s surfaces with sandpaper and buffs finish. Mixes repair materials as required.

 

DESIRED REQUIREMENTS

Uses power drill, grinder, buffer and spray gun.

Laminators

DESCRIPTION

Under the direction of a supervisor, effectively and efficiently places fiberglass material directly onto mixture of fiberglass particles, MEK and resin (which was sprayed by chopper gun operator).  Rolls out fiberglass material ensuring that all air bubbles are removed.  Performs other duties as directed by supervisor.

Cleaners

DESCRIPTION

Under direction of a supervisor, effectively and efficiently cleans dirt, compound, glue, saw dust and any other foreign matter that may appear in boats prior to shipping.  May be asked to help out in other areas when boats are not ready to be cleaned.  Performs other duties as directed by supervisor.
