After years of requests from our customers, we have designed a new Corsair 22. It is a great step between the Lancer 20 and the Corsair 25 with all of the beautiful styling details you have come to expect from the closed-deck and cuddy cabin boats of Chris-Craft. Shown here in our Heritage Edition package with all teak options, the unique design of this boat is Chris-Craft through and through.
If any boat defines Chris-Craft, it is the Corsair series. Like several other models, the Corsair 25 has a whole new look and feel this year! With more luxurious teak from bow to stern, and a larger teak swim platform, this runabout is stunning from any angle. Practical and comfortable, the Corsair 25 beautifully combines craftsmanship and quality. The Corsair 25 has a stylish foredeck that provides an uninterrupted forward view and a useful cuddy cabin underneath. It comes with a standard 5.7L engine with 300 hp. Alternatively, you can specify a range of Volvo or Mercruiser engines with up to 400 hp. Whatever you use it for, the Corsair 25 will transport you in great style and comfort.
If you are looking for pure boating pleasure just wait until you climb aboard the newly redesigned Corsair 28. Now with even more room, more luxurious teak, and handling that cuts through any wake with ease, the New Corsair 28 is even more of what Chris-Craft boaters have asked for. Its generous dimensions provide ample interior space, and allow for more powerful twin-engine configurations. The power and acceleration of this model give it a responsiveness that will take your breath away. This Corsair comes with a standard 8.1L engine with 375 hp. Alternatively, you can specify a range of Volvo or Mercruiser engines with up to 600 total hp. A larger forward cabin is ideal for an afternoon snooze and the cockpit is spacious and comfortable. However you choose to enjoy this boat, you'll find it an emphatic statement of elegant style.
The Corsair 33 sets new standards for this type of boat. While it has the heart and low sleek lines of a sporty runabout it also has the practicality and space of an express cruiser. In fact, it's in a class by itself. With a spacious forward cabin and separate head, it provides excellent interior space and comfort. But the Corsair 33 also delivers an impressive level of performance. It comes with standard twin 8.1L engines with 750 total hp. Alternatively, you can specify a range of Volvo or Mercruiser engines with up to 850 hp. This is a boat that is as desirable as it is versatile.
Like the Corsair 33, the 36 offers unprecedented interior space and luxury for a boat of this type. The forward cabin area of the Corsair 36 provides a full 6'2" of head room. There is also a separate stateroom with queen size bed at the rear making this a boat that sleeps 4 easily. The Corsair 36 comes with standard twin 8.1L engines with 840 total hp. Alternatively, you can specify a range of Volvo or Mercruiser engines with up to 850 hp. Diesel engines are also available. Its performance is every bit as impressive as its interior craftsmanship.
The Corsair 45, in development but coming soon, is a natural extension of our most iconic runabout range. The newest Corsair will feature Volvo's IPS technology, a fiberglass hardtop with electric glass roof, and other beautiful design elements. Customers will be able to choose between two interior accommodations to fit their lifestyle. Look for an early review of the boat in Yachting Magazine's April 2009 issue.
