Chris-Craft uses HK Research Corporation's HydroShield" LITE series of gel coats exclusively - a surface coating that gives you a level of protection that is unmatched in performance. This means your boating investment will better retain its value for many years to come with very little effort.
Here are two very simple steps to keep the protection going:

General Maintenance
Ensure that you cover your boat when not in use. Wash the entire surface with a soft rag or sponge and a mild detergent at least once a month.

Seasonal Maintenance
About every six months (after completing your normal maintenance) wax the surface with a carnuba-type paste wax. Avoid using any "abrasive" cleaner-type waxes as they will actually remove your protective surface. Mechanical buffing is not necessary, but may help to speed up this step and leave you with a deeper shine.
