All Chris-Craft teak decking is custom-fabricated from solid teak whereas many competitors use only a veneer. All teak trim is installed by trained carpenters using specially-formulated adhesive systems. Teak decking is laid onto special backings to resist the corrosive effects of sea water. Our upholstery is constructed using a premium grade 35-ounce vinyl with an SRT top coating that ensures it is resistant to staining and surface abrasions. Our cushioning material utilizes a dual-density foam that is soft to the touch but with added firm density support to maintain seat comfort and shape over time. The foam is glued onto a PVC substrate sealed with a plastic bio bag to inhibit moisture and mildew intrusion. The PVC substrate has several 1-1/8" breather vent holes to reduce moisture build up and allow the seat to return to normal shape after use.
